Chris Lassig is a theoretical particle physicist turned science communicator.

Since 2011 he has been part of the team presenting Lost in Science on 3CR community radio. He’s also often found at Laneway Learning talking about time travel, quantum mechanics, the science of riding bikes, the maths of tying ties and much more, all in simple, non-technical language.

In 2014 Chris performed his show “Kitchen Cosmology” at the Melbourne Fringe Festival, in which he explained the history of the universe by cooking popcorn and pudding live on stage.

Chris also draws comics, makes short films, writes about history and Photoshops his name into photos of old motels.
